Along with visiting the art galleries of London, I also managed to squeeze in a visit to quite a few of London’s museums. I’ll be doing the same format as my London Art Galleries post, including the Admission, Nearest Tube Station and also the areas of each museum which I enjoyed the most.

Spent a few days with my parents down in East Sussex visiting my Auntie and Uncle, where we went to the local gardens, Hever Castle, a game of golf, a meal out and plenty of card and board games.
Now that the queues have died down a bit at Leicester Cathedral I thought I would wander down there to see the tombstone of Richard III, the last Plantagenet King and also the last British monarch to die in battle (Battle of Bosworth). As I am lucky enough to come from Leicestershire and having worked at the Leicester Cathedral for a year, I felt it would be an opportunity missed if I did not go down on Bank Holiday Monday in the glorious sunshine to visit the person that has given Leicester worldwide attention.
