Songs XIII (Remix Edition)

Songs XIII (Remix Edition)

In the thirteenth edition of my musical posts I thought I would do something different. This time I have decided to focus on some remixes of popular songs. The list includes Ed Sheeran, Oasis, Justin Timberlake, John Mayer, Adele and Taylor Swift. One thing I have noticed among remixes on YouTube is that they like to use attractive girls as the background to their music videos.

Ed Sheeran | In Love With The Coco (Hitimpulse Remix)
My favourite from this list.

Ed Sheeran | Photograph (Felix Jaehn Remix)
I have listened to plenty of remixes of different Ed Sheeran songs. Kygo has done a couple of others which I really like. I See Fire is worth a look if you like the two above remixes.

Oasis | Wonderwall ft. Katy MacAllister (Monkey Joker Edit)
How can a remix live up to the legend which is Wonderwall? This remix is different and doesn’t do the original a disservice.

Justin Timberlake | Suit and Tie (Oliver Nelson Remix)
Amazing remix! Definitely worth a listen…and a dance.

John Mayer | Free Fallin’ (Matoma & Nelsaan Tropical Mojito Remix)
A very summer feel to this remix of one of my favourite songs.

Adele | Hello (Laibert Remix)
Biggest song of the year, and the remix’s chorus is pretty awesome!

Taylor Swift | Wildest Dreams (R3hab Remix)
Wildest Dreams seems to be ready-made for remixes, and R3hab’s is a great listen, especially when turned to 1.25 speed.

Sorry I haven’t been posting much content recently. Final year of university seems to be taking up most of time these days and I am finding it hard to not only read books for pleasure, but to write reviews of them too. Also, through playing football (soccer to my American followers) I have suffered a severe ankle ligament strain and sprained ankle, so I’ve been hobbling about and have been very uncomfortable lately. No football for 8-12 weeks! 😦
